Saturday Matinee - Richie Havens

Richie Havens will be remembered as the one who opened the Woodstock festival. He was chosen for a good reason - he's a great performer who can get a crowd up and on their feet. I saw him in Seattle in the mid 1970's and I'll always remember what a great singer and what a great storyteller he was.
